Today is an important day for the MSB as we decided with David Hayman (the founder), to close it because we miss some time, and our sense of perfection and our infinite love for music does not allow us to do it “halfway”.

The MSB since 2012, it represents 350 posts read 36 400 times by 16 000 visitors in tens and tens of countries thru the whole world.

That was a great adventure.
I loved it.
I love your messages.
I loved your submissions.
I learnt a lot.
I opened myself.
I want to thank you all, and specially my big bro David, for having given me those happy times.
I’m feeling so grateful for the MSB who allowed me to be its best friend when I was lonely.

I’m feeling so grateful for you all, and I send you virtual hugs.

A TRIBE CALLED RED “SISTERS” BRING ON SUMMER EARLY!

I am going to crank it up a notch.  Forgive me, but we get over-excited for hot-weather, here in the Great White North.  And I am sorry to throw this curve ball at yall but this is my vote for the first big jam of the summer.  If you are lucky, unlike me, and have a wonderful full head of hair, first of all congrats, second of all, please wear a hat so this song doesn’t blow your hair too far back and make you look like Nicholas Cage.

From Canada’s Polaris Prize nominated album NATION II NATION, A TRIBE CALLED RED featuring A NORTHERN VOICE debut video for “SISTERS” (Turn it up!)

The story for “Sisters” follows three Indigenous women making their way to one of A Tribe Called Red’s “Electric Pow Wows.” Sarain Carson-Fox, Kawennáhere Devery Jacobs, and Aria Evan play the lead roles. The video was funded by MuchFACT, directed by Jon Riera, and produced by Landon Ramirez and The Field.  A Tribe Called Red recently earned a JUNO Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year and is currently on tour with World Hood.  This song was featured last seaon on Rookie Blue.
